George is a freelance illustrator working in London. His work is both commercial and personal. The influences he takes from his location drawing can be seen in the work he does for editorial pieces, reportage accounts, childrenÕs books, fashion artwork and commercial drawings.

On 23rd November 2009, I will be driving from London to Libreville in Gabon, it will take me 6 months, through 15
different countries, 8500km and over 51° of latitude.
On 1st April 2009 I went down to the Bank of England to draw the impending protests. Since the police took it upon themselves to allow no body to leave these drawings document the action as it unfolded. This included a man jumping through my sketchbook at one point. Hence the ink everywhere on one of the pages.
