Planting trees...

Every original artwork I sell I'm going to plant 10 trees.

It's not a solution to flying for work, but it is a small contribution to ancient British ecosystems which so badly need protection.

These are broadleaf, British, native species, planted in the Brecon Beacons by Stump Up fo Trees - they are on common ground and will never be cut down. They are part of a project to plant a million trees and they will be looked after for the first 12 years to insure maximum survival. They have planted 120000 so far.

Done conscientiously and with permission of farmers the benefits of tree planting are undeniable. They offer habitat, biodiversity, resistance to flooding, carbon sequestration and structure within soil.
